Journal History

DISKURSUS Jurnal Filsafat dan Teologi (ISSN 1412-3878) was founded in 2002 by Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat (STF) Driyarkara, Jakarta.

It focuses on original and peer-reviewed works in the areas of philosophy and theology, but also welcomes works resulting from interdisciplinary research at the intersections between philosophy/theology and other disciplines, notably exegesis, linguistics, history, sociology, anthropology, politics, economics, and natural sciences.

Since its inception, DISKURSUS has been published regularly, twice a year, i.e. in April and October. Some 1,000 copies were printed for every issue until 2017.

Since 2010, DISKURSUS has been available for both print and online editions, with e-ISSN: 2580-1686.

In 2018, DISKURSUS was certified by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia with Accredited Scientific Journal at Rank 3 (The Ministry Decree No. 21/E/KPT/2018, July 9th, 2018).

At the end of 2018 DISKURSUS moved from its old internet domain, http://journal.stfdriyarkaradiskursus.ac.id., to a new one, https://journal.driyarkara.ac.id. As DISKURSUS had been registered in the DOI Foundation, LIPI, ARJUNA, SINTA and other indexing databases under the old domain, some unforseeable interruption occured as a result of the switch over. It precipitated a hiatus of three years from 2019 to 2021 as stakeholders worked on the digital transition.

In 2022, DISKURSUS successfully moved to Open Journal System 3, and resumed its regular publication (vol. 18 no.1). By the end of the year DISKURSUS was also added into the PhilPapers.
